My name is Jean Charles, and proud to be a stage-three and stage-four cancer survivor.
Prior to the global pandemic, on August 15, 2019 diagnosed with stage 3 Rectal cancer and anal cancer and homelessness my situation Soon changed further, my cancer advanced to stage 4 within 4 months. The cancer had spread from throughout my body, from my torso to my knees. Became a very discouraging and difficult and stressful time in my life..
Backed up against all capable Human Resources, no choice but to turn to my lord above. With the help of the wonderful staff at Jackson Memorial Hospital, And UM doctors I was able to receive Medicaid, disability, and food stamps. From November 2019-November 2020 (during the midst of covid 19 pandemic I was between the hospital and Miami Rescue Mission. During that time i received Surgery, chemo therapy as well as radiation treatments. Additionally I had changed my lifestyle and went vegan. On November 13. 2020 I was able to save enough from my disability payments and acquire an apartment next to the hospital. With my changed eating habits, exercise, treatments and faith I am proud to say I am cancer free.
I started a clothing line with my art to to help spread awareness and let people know I am not ashamed and if i can do it, so can you. Now it’s only been ONE year and counting, but I am continuing to stay positive.

MY EXPLANTION ON WHY I USED F*CK FOR CANCER
First off please do not look at the word F*CK in a bad way when it come down to CANCER, but look at this word In this situation as a metaphor, because for this disease that is the only right word to used for CANCER.
So I am saying F*CK CANCER for all the lives out there that we lost due to cancer, for all the people out there that lost there hair due to cancer, for all the women out there that lost their breast due to cancer, for the men out there that have a problem going to the bathroom for the rest of their life due to prostate cancer, for all the young kids out there that have to go through lung cancer at a young age, for all the babies out that who are born with cancer, for all the parent out there that lost a child due to cancer, for all the ones out there that are in a wheelchair and have to go through cancer, and for all the ones out there that are scared to say F*CK CANCER. SO FUCK YOU CANCER FOR ALL MY CANCER FAMILY OUT THERE THAT YOU'VE AFFECTED THEIR LIVES.
'I LOVE MY FAMILY'
(SO LET'S AS A SOCIETY EDUCATE OUR YOUNG KIDS ON HOW TO USE THIS WORD WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO THIS SITUATION, BECAUSE THAT IS THE ONLY RIGHT WAY TO FEEL ABOUT THIS CANCER DISEASE)

I learned throughout this process that with FAITH, with GOD, and NOT holding on to HOPE you can conquer anything in this life.
